New halFILE Features in version 1.4SQL halFILE for Windows version 1.4SQL
has been released and includes the following features:
Separate basket databases – to reduce contention and improve speed, each
basket is now maintained in a separate database. Prior to version 1.4, all
baskets were maintained in one large database.
Mark and print feature in search – mark several documents in the search
hit list, press List Options and a new option combines all marked images into
a single multi-page TIFF file that can be printed or e-mailed. This is
especially useful when faxing a set of documents because the images are sent
as a single fax transmission thus streamlining the fax process.
Short cut names – this feature lets you enter an abbreviation for commonly
used names and the system will automatically enter the full name for you.
halFILE 1.4SQL requires a
basket upgrade procedure that can be performed by Technical Support via modem.
To get upgraded to this release, call Tech Support and they can schedule your
upgrade.
